Girls Group Therapy - For Teens who have been sexually abused
Girls Circle Group - Group Therapy for Adolescent Girls

Teens that have experienced sexual abuse will be able to start the healing process with the help of their peers and treatment professionals in a therapeutic setting.

What is the Girls Circle Model?
The Girls Circle model is a structured support group for girls from 9-18 years that does not aim to provide advice, but encourages girls to share experiences that are helpful to one another.

Each week the group will talk and listen to one another about their concerns and interests. The girls will have opportunities to express themselves further through creative or focused activities such as role playing, drama, journaling, poetry, drama, dance, drawing, collage, clay, and anything else the girls can think of!

Gender specific themes and topics are introduced which relate to the girls’ lives, such as being a girl, trusting ourselves, friendships, body image, goals, sexuality, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, competition, and decision-making.

When and where is the Girls Circle held?
Girls Circle at CAP is held once a week after school at CAP; 350 North Ash Street in Casper, WY.  Meetings will last approximately 1 ½ hours and groups are generally 8 to 12 weeks long.

How much does Girls Circle cost?
CAP is a private, non-profit program that is dedicated to providing the highest quality services to children and their families.  CAP will bill insurance and/or Victim’s Compensation for fees associated with the Girls Circle.  Families will not be billed for any portion of the Girls Circle.

How do I register someone for the next Girls Circle?
Group sizes are limited, so it is best to call CAP today.  Kayleigh Corbett, MSW, PCSW will be able to answer any questions you may have and let you know when the next Girls Circle session will begin.
